There are many misunderstandings about the Bermuda Triangle

First, the size and shape of the actual area the "Triangle" takes up is not agreed upon by authors.

Second, many of the disappearance stories are not as mysterious as some authors claim; after looking through the initial outlandish reports - the ones that go into making the legend, the more thorough investigations show nothing unusual in most, if not all, of the disappearances.

and Third, statistically, there are no more disasters than expected (relative to other shipping lane sizes) in the (commonly accepted) Triangle for the amount of traffic it has.

In fact, one of the most "amazing" things about the "Bermuda Triangle" is that, for all of its press, it is not so unusual after all...

It is human nature to like a good story, but we must learn to concede that most of these stories are just that

i become completely in contact by way of the Bermuda Triangle as a baby. I examine Berlitz' 'The Bermuda Triangle' many cases and loved the picture pages contained in the middle. i become so enchanted that I dreamed of having myself 'vanished' to be sure what become happening. later on, i began to envision the money owed and positioned that many were misrepresented. many of the ships sank outdoors of the 'Triangle.' Others went down contained in the middle of severe storms. some did not even take position. Flight 19 continues to be a secret and searches nonetheless have not got here upon the planes. some years in the past, 3 Avengers were got here upon fairly a lot area by way of area on the sea floor. rather, they were all unconnected and were downed or ditched at diverse cases. i'd nicely be incorrect, yet IIRC the Mariner plane despatched to seem for wreckage and allegedly disappeared, lower back to base unhurt. The Mary Celeste become nowhere close to the Triangle. From believing the Bermuda Triangle become an straightforward position, I quickly ordinary that the area isn't particular in any respect.

Why would there be a stargate to Atlantis? A stargate leads to another dimension.
I heard there's a giant crystal down there, of the type used to power their cities, and when it turns on everything goes haywire.

I think I read that there were 26 areas on Earth like this. The 2nd most popular one I think is near Japan.

Atlantis Theory: The crystaline machines that the Atlanteans used were still active when Atlantis was destroyed, and they mess with electronics. Silicon perhaps?
