Hi.
I wear contacts, too. They are pretty simple and if you haven't already worn them, before wearing contacts, I recommend practicing touching your eye. That way you aren't scared when a contact comes near your eyeball. Sounds silly, I know, but I went the eye doctors and I couldnt put the contact in because I was scared of touching my eyeball. So, I had to practice and wentt back into the eye doctors and I got them in on my first try.
Risks and reminders are:
1 ) Never, and I mean NEVER sleep with your contact lenses in. I know a few people that have and unfortunately, had them stuck to the eyeballs (no joke) and they had to get surgery. So always remember to take them out before sleeping!
2 ) Any eye irritations that occur tell your eye doctor and don't throw away the contacts.
3 ) Always wash your hands before putting in and taking out lenses. Germs can get in your eyes and cause an irritation.
4 ) Don't use old solution. Once again, GERMS.
Any other questions you can always ask your eye doctor.
Hope this helps!

Yes, it is safe. I have wore them for a long time.
The tips are keep contact lenses clean (following instructions) and replace them as per schedule.
By the way, I don't like to wear them when sleeping because of eye dryness.

Yes contact lenses are safe if you follow the replacement schedule and cleaning regimen the dispensing optometrist prescribed.
Do not wear them longer than they are meant to be worn. (i.e. do not sleep with daily wear contacts)
Be sure to wash your hands well with a fragrance-free soap before touching them.
If you experience dry eyes, talk to your optometrist/doctor about changing to another cleaning product. Sometimes the preservatives in multi-purpose solutions can cause dry eyes.

I use them and i love um! Just make sure when you put them in, they aren't torn or it will hurt really bad. Try not to fall asleep with them in.
