On the medical end, I agree wet nursing during pregnancy might not be a great idea, thats a question for your prenatal care provider.
On the emotional end, if you aren't comfortable with it, its not a good idea for you.
Most importantly, her milk is going to come in fastest if she just keeps nursing. Switching to any form of suplement unless her pediatrician thinks the baby has a problem doesn't make sense. For that matter, she may not really have a problem - the early milk doesn't give the engorged feeling... is her baby having plenty of wet diapers? If so, there is probably nothing to panic about.

Lol, how is that bizarre? Maybe our society has emerge as the bizarre with time as a substitute. I desire you understand that again within the day rainy nursing was once VERY COMMON, a few ladies might nurse all of the youngsters within the village, they might nurse for plenty of decades, good into their 50s and 60s. Additionally, i don't believe nursing your possess child is awesome to having any one else do it or to bottle feeding with system. Everyone has their possess prefrences, and simply for the reason that you selected to view your breasts as non sexual units whenever you had a child doesnt imply that one more girl will have to suppose the identical. I believe that rainy nursing is pleasant, if in case you have motives for doing it and will come up with the money for it, why now not. .. plenty of men and women do matters that others wouldnt do and that's good enough, that makes us all exceptional. By the best way, a few men and women who continue to exist farms DO drink milk directly variety the udders.

Ask your doctor. But you could pump and give it to her for her baby. But I know sometimes the doctor doesn't want you to nurse in your 2nd trimester, it takes away nutrients for the baby. But actually nursing someone elses baby just sounds weird. Plus once your belly gets too big how would you physically do that? Good Luck!

I don't know,I nurse my son and I think it may be kinda creepy nursing someone else's child. Its just to intimate of an act. If it were completely necessary in a situation where there was no formula to offer maybe, but now a days we do have alternatives.

It used to be done all the time. As long as u don't have any transmittable diseases there should be no problem. I would do it if I could. There are also some hospitals that have "milk banks" for premature infants. Breast milk is best even when it is not the mother's.

I don'tnow if I could. You could offer to pump and share your milk that way. It is a very personal thing, and the baby is dependant on you. With another baby, it would be a little strange!

I wouldn't. Not only because it would just be weird but because nipple stimulation can put you into labor. You don't want to jeopardize your baby because she can't just use formula. I would be very cautious and talk with your OB if you decide to do it. Good luck
