You should have a CBC (complete blood count) including a hepatic panel and hormone level.
One test I cannot put enough emphasis on is a CA 125. Every year when you get your pap test done, ask the doctor to do this test!! They won't do it routinely unless asked for and it could save your life.
Not many women know about it and I've been getting tested for it every year since I was about 20.
A CA 125 screens for the early stages of ovarian cancer and it is very important (I still don't know why they don't incorporate it in their routine screenings) because in a majority of cases, most women that had, have or die from ovarian cancer had no idea they were at risk because by the time the symptoms manifest themselves, the cancer has spread due to the nature of the ovaries and the fact that the lymph and endocrine system have a circulatory system just like with our blood.
Ovarian cancer has a mortality rate beyond that of any other type of cancer that affects women. It spreads quickly and kills upwards to the 90 percent of women who have it.
A CA 125 can detect ovarian cancer at VERY early stages and you stand a very good chance of fighting that type of cancer if it's caught before it has time to grow.
So yes, make sure you ask for the CA 125 blood test. If they ask you why or they tell you it's not important if you don't have a history of it in your family, INSIST upon it!! Demand it if you have to or go independently to a lab to have it done.
And please spread the word to any other women you know about this test. It could save so many lives if every woman had this test done every year.

There are way too many things that could be tested for to check for everything. You'd be taking blood tests for years. Your best bet it to talk with ALL the doctors (including the dentist) you see and get their recommendations. Also, Whenever you see a doctor explain in detail anything you may be feeling. Lastly, read the side effects and info of ALL medications you're on. It list the side effects and possible symptoms so you can get the proper thing checked out.

total lipid profile which includes cholesterol, triglycerides, and HDL/LDL (Good and bad cholesterol) Also a CBC every year
and a Basic Metabolic panel which tells about your sugar, and kidney function, etc. CBC tells if your anemic and about your blood. That's about it.

Glucose, thyroid hormones, iron, white blood cells and red blood cells. Just ask for a CBC + thyroid, that should be good :)

Go to a good naturopath and ask for a vegatest... that will test your body's level of yeast overgrowth. Then talk to the naturopath about what they recommend for a healthy lifestyle and monitoring of dis-ease. I don't have enough faith in the sick-care system to get those other tests done.
all the best!
