I was in a similar situation to you 18 months ago. I tried St Johns Wart and Evening Primrose Oil pills but they didnt suit me. I was then recommended by a friend to try Starflower Oil. OK, they are more expensive than SJW and EPO but boy did they make a difference to me feeling down. I try to get them when they are in the better than half price sale at Holland and Barrett. As for the spots - ask around your girlfriends on what they use to clean their skin. I use antibaterial handwash (ASDA's own brand) as a handwash (obviously) but also as a facewash and shower gel. I hardly get any spots now. But it has been a case on pills and soaps, etc., of trial and error. If in doubt go back to your docs and get their advice or even off a pharmacist.
Good luck I hope you get it all sorted.

Yes, there is. It has worked for me for over 10 years now. Evening Primrose Oil (happens to be very good for skin too!).
You will need to take it daily for around 6 weeks though before you reap the benefit. Then continue to take it daily. That's a mistake lots of women make, they take it for a while or miss a few days then give up.
My husband would be tearing his hair out (so would I), if I hadn't have discovered it!
Best wishes.

These things all really help-I have had terrible problems! Lots of walking, no caffeine, very little sugar, lots of water, vitamin B. For me, this has to be a lifestyle. Good luck.

Evening primrose oil, vitimin B. Most importantly try to recognise your symptoms so that you can control them in the future.
It sounds hard but can be done. Hit a cushion or give yourself a good talking to in the mirror.

My OB/GYN told me that many women take Zoloft just before their periods to ease severe PMS symptoms, and he also told me that taking vitamin B-6 is helpful for depression.
