Shevchenko and Ballack are 2 world class players. They have not performed reasonably up to their expectations this season in Chelsea. Chelsea is suffering because their other players are not performing as well. This is due to Mourinho has troubles in accomodating these 2 players in his team. Mourinho has to change his successful tactics of deploying wingers of last season to the current tactics, which is causing their downfall in performance. Ballack and Shevchenko are 2 different types of players and their style are not suitable to the play Chelsea is playing. In order to play to their style, Mourinho is to make sacrifice in his tactics to his current team or the 2 players have to adapt to it. Though they are not playing well now, I felt they should be given more time to adapt to the pace of the Premiership. It is a different league to those that Ballack and Shevchenko have played before. Look at Thierry Henry when he first joined Arsenal. He needed more time to adapt to the game before he flourishes. To me, it is a NO. Give them time and we will be able to judge how good they can adapt to the games.

Yes, I have. But, I don't think they should be sold as even though Chelsea are playing with 10 men when they play Shevchenko, it probably is taking him a long while to settle in. If he doesn't produce results next season, sell him. Ballack is just another addition to make the Chelsea midfield formiddable, but sadly aren't. Keep him and play him more regularly, leave out Lampard(preferably) or Makelele.

ballack's being alright, lampard has continued on his world cup form or lack of it, and essien has being close to unstoppable, but ballack scores a few important goals lately for them. Sheva has struggled to adapt to the faster game in the EPL, he lacks the absolute speed and nous to get to the right spots, but it's the chelsea style that hurts him, his more a creator who runs at people and have creative passers to feed his dinky runs, chelsea's about crash and bash, no real flair or anything really, so he chose the wrong place to go to, he would have been perfect as samuel eto's foil, imagine him getting feed by messi, ronaldinho, deco, xavi etc, in lieu of lampard, ballack, essien, robben, drogba, you see the comparision no real flair or creative force in the chelsea team, except joe cole and his barely played, even man u has looked better with the flair and imagination of schoes, giggs, ronaldo and rooney. to answer the question no they won't be sold, until the end of the season at least, and even if they do, there won't be much in it for them, as they're both 30 odd and looking less and less like the stars of yesteryear.

They have not played well at all! Ballack is called an essential player by Mourinho though so I doubt he will be sold.

Theres so much speculation about Shevchenko. I think he will make it till summer and here go back to Italy or Spain. Unless Jose Mourinho leaves Chelski.

I have seen couple of good performances from Shevenko but not from Ballack..But I believe they have not performed even half to their worth of the money we spent and so they should be sold when they still have some good reputation in the market..We need people like Drogba and Essien,..Hard working people.

I would rather have Shev back in ACM.
Thats where he should be. ACM is like at around mid table, they are obviously missing shev and so is Shev missing ACM's scoring days. Ballack, to me he's a dissappointment. If I have not seen how he performed before Chelsea, I would be thinking, why did Chelsea do a cheap buy this time and 1st team performance? OMG

Yeah they just need to adapt to the clubs in England and the new routine of training. Oh and they've had their good games. Not that great but at least their trying to get used to it. But if it wouldn't work out, I think Michael Ballack should go back with Bayern Munich.

NO!!!! I was really sad when Shevchenko transfered to Chelsea, and now that everything is settled. He shouldn't be transfered again. Coz' I am in love with Chelsea now, and they should stay there. Besides, Chelsea is rich enough to keep both of these players in their league.

Shev & Ballack are 2 world class players and just need time to adapt to english football but if Jose is going to give them away (Liverpool) would be happy to take them off his hands!
