Why do people that earn alot of money act like snobs?

I don't know, but I know one close to me who does. She will never admit when she's wrong. She will tell everyone her plans at the last minute (across states) & expect everyone to be there. Then she always shows up late. She's judgemental of everyone else, but can't take criticism. From my experience "old money"people are less this way. New money people are out to impress everyone that they've "made it".

Sense of entitlement -- they have a sense they are entitled to everything including acting like they want.
