i think that in your text thing, you click on options and go to the symbols. An if it isnt there there isnt one

hey i have a D500 as well. if u go into ur messages, there will be a button under options on the left and one under t(9) on the right. the button is above the call end/reject button. press that until a bunch of symbols come up. the '@' sign is on the first 'page'. the numbers on ur keypad represent the symbol and in this case its '6' so press that and hey presto u have ur '@' symbol :-)

If you press 1 enough times I think it's there. If not try 0. Or the * key, im not sure at the minute - i'll have a look later.

On my Samsung D600E if you press and hold down the # key it gives you a list of symbols to choose from....not sure if yours is the same.

try 1, i have a samsung too. mine's a slider, for mine it's 1.
