I got them when I was ten. But that waz because my best friend had them! You may look good with them if they aren't too long. But you will have them off soon, trust me! It hurt when I took mine off. They were hard to get off. The stuff I got to take them off with waz in this dish. They dissolved in there and it was gross. I thought when I took them off it waz going to pull my fingernail off!! It may be different for you though! :) By the way I'm 12 too. I do not apperciate people calling us little girlz! Would they wake up it is 2007. We are older than we used to be!!!!!!!!! I don't think a 12 year old girl should be wearing fake nails so soon. I would wait until she was atleast 14 or 15. She's not even officially a teenager yet. I think acrylic nails are pretty bad for finger nails. They make finger nails very weak and brittle. She should get a manicure and pick out a cute color or get a french manicure. It looks a lot better, and it's also a lot cheaper.

Id say why not try some of the new pretty nail colors out--some have glitter and are perfect for a young teenager to be. It would be more fun and easy to change than acrylics, I think wait til your at least 16 for that one. They also have cute stickers for nails too. Have fun.

No, enjoy life sweetie, do not try to grow up or look grown up too quickly. Your nails will look good trim and nicely polish, this is more youthful anyway. Acrylic nails look good true, but for a 12 year old, it's not appropriate.

12 is much to younge for that type of thing. The absolute youngest I think should have them is 16.. and even then I don't think it's a good idea. Just get her some pretty nail polishes and let her experement with those. You could even get some of those nail stickers if she would like those... Much better than fake nails for a little girl.

well if kept short and feminine i think it might look kind of childish, like the 12 yr old is trying to grow up too soon maybe a nice manicure with your own nails would look fine afrench manicure is always in vogue

My family business is doing nails, trust a professional. They look absolutly horrible. Unless you want to look like you're trying too hard or look 20 years older you shouldn't get them. A nice manicure will do.

No. Honestly, despite pressures, you'll look your best if you dress and act your age. Looking like a 21 year old woman is not flattering when you are 12.

i don't think fake nails look good on anyone, but if she wants to have fake nails than you should let her. Its just nails, its not like she wants to start wearing thongs!
