What are the chances that the baby is ok. I'm 0-2 weeks pregnant, and although I didn't want to have anymore kids, I'm so excited yet scared. I have to get an ultrasound done on Monday (1/15/07) to see if the baby is inside my tube or if it is in the uterus. Do you have any advice?

Fingers crossed for you at this anxious time! It is possible that it is ectopic (implanted in the tube), but you are lucky that you detected the pregnancy early as it can be dangerous if it isnt detected until later. Good luck with your ultrasound and I hope things work out. It sounds like you have the right attitude, that you will love the baby if there is to be one, but are prepared for bad news as well. I really feel for you as you must be on tenterhooks right now. Keep your spirits up. :)

Well, first off you need to review your med. charts and find out what exactly happened during your tubal. Were they tied, or cut? Was the tubal done correctly. Beware, some Doc.'s just love it when you pry, but this is your health and that of your baby, so you need to get all facts for your future. As far as the baby is concerned, It's hard to advise without your history? If your healthy, and age does not pose a factor, you'll probably due fine. You may have scar tissue from the tubal lig. that may pose a slight problem, but I would not be too concerned. And of course you already no about tubal pregnancies. But why think along those lines, chances are, your surprise is in the right place, your tubal ligation just failed. Good luck to you! Sometimes science takes a backseat to God's plan....

Poor you. i am 29 with three children and I suppose identification consider precisely the identical. My aunt had her tubes tied and 1 year later she found out she was pregnant. She went for her ultrasound and found out not only was the baby OK but there were 2 babies. They were both perfectly healthy. She got pregnant again after the twins and had another baby. So don't stress yourself.

yup...just calm down, dont stress until u know for sure what is going on with the baby...if your tubes r tied i dont know what your chances of having a healthy baby is...but im guess there is a much higher chance of this being a tube baby, than normal...i hope everything id ok for u...dont get too excited yet...but good luck, i hope it works out...remember calm.

My mom had a friend who tubes were tied and got pregnant. The baby is fine. I am happy that you are excited about it. Good luck and congrats!

This is such amazing gift, you were meant to have another child for a reason. My friend was conceived when her mothers tubes were tied to and everything turned out to be alright, I would not worry everything is going to be fine but just in case my thoughts are with you.

Stay positive, but don't let your hopes get way up. Hopefully, if it's meant to be, you will successfully carry this child. If not, don't fter it, it was meant to be this way. Leave it in the hands of God and you will be fine I'm sure. Good luck, and congrats.

OMG i have never heard of this. I hope this is real.If your tubes are tied how would the baby be in it.I really do not understand.If it was in your tube you would know it i promise. GOOD LUCK AT THE DOCTOR
