NO definitely not, that's what some irrational and radical anti-circumcision groups and lobbies want everyone else to beleive.
Comparing male circumcision to the so-called female circumcision is something alse due these groups, again with the goal of misleading and manipulationg the general public.
I have seen the circumcision of my three sons and none of them had any problem. The doctor used an anesthesic cream, so they virtually felt no pain. You have probably seen a video provided by these racal groups.

Male circumcision is not abuse! it is one of the best things that a parent can do for a son, giving him better hygiene, comfort, appearance, self-esteem and when he grows up FAR better sexual sensation for both himself and his female partner(s) The disgusting genital mutilation which is done to girls in some countries is nothing like male circumcision and has the opposite effect. The two cannot be compared in any way. Ignore the anti-circ answers - they come from young inexperienced women (like "Maple") or from uncircumcised men, so what can they know?

Yes i saw it done on my son however it was because he had adhesions and could not pee. My second son was also done to prevent adhesions so not everyone does it just because they want to. By the way both of my sons had lidocain use to prevent any pain and was given pain meds while it healed. Most parents that choose to dothis can request pain reliever for their son

no i dont think it is for little boys.. it helps them to be clean...now for the girls i think it is child abuse.. the only reason it is done to the girls is because they believe it help keep them from straying away from their husband .. when it is dont to a girl they take away the clitoris so she gets no enjoyment from sex... she is just there for her husband pleasure

Yes, it is child abuse and should be illegal unless there is an urgent medical reason. Parents should not have the right to mutilate their sons or their daughters.
If you have any doubts, watch the video at http://www.cirp.org/library/procedure/plastibell/ - but have a barf bag nearby.
