I have a dell desktop and a dell laptop. We purchased a belkin wireless router but I cannot figure out how to set it up so that my laptop can use the wireless interenet connection. I need it explained in dummy terms lol so that I can do it myself. Any ideas?

If you would just follow the quick install guide that comes with the router it cant get anymore dummy then that.

1) connect the router to your broadband modem. Power them on.
2) connect your desktop to the router using an ethernet cable
3) go through the routers setup (Keep and WEP or WAP security disabled until you get everything working). If you have DSL you will need your Username and Password to setup your internet connection in the router.
4)You should have a connection to the internet on your desktop now.
5) Install or enable your wireless device in your laptop and you should see your router in the available networks. Connect to it and you should have internet to your laptop.
