Unfortunately yes . Some people can appear as kind, nice people, but they can act in a way and have something in mind that's totally different, and I guess we've all ( more or less ) experienced that ... suddenly they show you ... their "bad" face .
I don't mean to be judgemental or whatever, I've just noticed that too many times .

Yes it is very true. People lie. It is very common. Being two faced or a liar just means you have no honor or dignity about your self and some people lie just to see where it will take them. The thing about lying is you have to keep lying in order to cover up the first lie. Some people lie so much that they start to believe their own lies. Just be careful who you trust as your friend and judge for yourself!

Well,, here's my opinion = being two-faced to me means that someone deliberately lies or misleads you to believe something that is not true. It doesn't mean to hide the truth,, we all do that to some extent, and in many cases we're justified in doing so. Here's a few examples of what two-faced is to me;
1. promise you first chance at something, knowing they're not going to.
2. tells you one version of an event, and tells a different version to someone else.
3. tells you a lie about something, then denies saying it, changes the story.

I have had experience with 'two-faced' persons. Most of them are very insecure yet project a superior attitude. I don't know how this is possible. I don't have a clue as to why they are insecure or why they project a superior attitude. It is puzzling. I cannot believe them so I stay away, far away. Their truth shifts from moment to moment. It is so hard to know what they actually believe. Staying away seems to work best with these type of people for me.

I think it is very true. I'm two-faced myself. Everybody has some part of themselves they want to hide, and they(we) will lie at times to hide it.

i used to have a boss (Judy) that would tell us one thing, then turn around and say the exact opposite to her superiors. she could never be trusted. she was so bad, that when someone ask for Halloween party theme suggestion for an after-hour party, someone said "Batman, that way Judy won't have to buy a mask!"
