Hi, I am a Psychology major with a minor in Spanish. I am not to sure about what you are asking but I will try my best to answer. If you are going to a community college to receive your Associates degree (2years) then to a University to receive your Bachelor's degree (4years) or just straight to a University to receive your Bachelor's (4years) it is all the same. The first two years will be mainly getting your basics with a few electives in which you should to Psychology classes. Then the next two years, you will mainly just focus on Psychology. With a Bachelor's in Psychology, you can work just about anywhere, but to be able to actually work in the Psychology field and begin to make good money, you will have to go to Graduate School. In Grad school, you will need a Master's degree (6years altogether), or you can go on to get your PhD.D (8years). I am pursuing my Master's in School Psychology which is 6years of schooling and an 1year internship. The personality trait you will need is just to be yourself, if it is required for you to change, then maybe you need to go into another field. Nothing should ever require you to be someone other than yourself. Of course, the Psyc field is for people who are good with people and are able to help them. Good luck with everything you do!

nicely, with a Masters degree they are commonly a qualified preparation councilor. With an acquaintances or bachelor degree they'd nicely be able to develop right into a social worker. countless the time psychology majors look those who've no idea what they favor to be, yet they don't look prepared to paintings contained in the technology training to get someplace in existence. additionally they look the 'partier' crowd. i will complete my acquaintances in lab tech this week, and would have earned my acquaintances in psych sometime this 12 months at the same time as winding up my pre-reqs for my bachelors degree. ( i imagine i favor danger and information, a wellbeing club class, and a global topics class and that i'd have earned my psyche degree) i'd all precise attempt to p.c.. up some section time paintings as a social worker, basically to get some journey with it, as a fallback from my evening job as a lab tech.

Don't get depresses but, there's really not much you can do with just a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. You used to be able to be licensed as a Psychologist with a Master's degree but that changed some time ago...

By degree, I assume you mean a bachelors? It's not big deal. Just go to a college that offers it, pick it as your majors, and take and pass all the courses they require. They'll have a list.

Psychology is an easy major. If you just want to be able to finish, not being suicidal or depressed is enough to finish that degree.
