AquaKlean by KBS coatings is a great automotive cleaner/degreaser. It's a concentrate that you dilute according to the toughness of the job. The hotter the water the better.

Due to the fact asphalt is oil, then you must use some water soluble detergent, like Dawn dish washing soap. It is the best degreaser you can buy for the money. Use it generously and it will biodegrade the oil on the driveway.

Use a plain clay kitty litter, not a perfumed, clumping or any kind with dye added. It might be a good time to have your driveway re-sealed, once you get it cleaned off.

go to a auto parts store and ask them, they have good degreasers for that purpose.
