Michael Vick is already a premier NFL quarterback, he has shown in several games this year that he can throw and run the ball. The real question is can Petrino surround Michael Vick with a good supporting cast like an explosive wide receiver and a solid offensive line. Also, can Petrino repair an injury prone defense.

No. The competition is so much tougher in the NFL than it was in the Big East. Louisville played a pretty weak schedule if you go back and look at who Petrino actually beat while he was at Louisville, you will begin to wonder why the Falcons were willing to pay this man this kind of money. I think Michael Vick is a fantastic athlete and if the Falcons can develop a consistent running game and bring in receivers who can catch the ball, they will of course do better regardless of who their QB is. I'd like to see Vick do well in Atlanta, but I have to say I think he will eventually be traded. In this new role, wherever it may be, perhaps Vick will acheive the greatness he did not bring consistently to Atlanta.

Bobby Petrino is just like Nick Saban. One good year in college football and instantly they will be a huge sucess in the NFL. Well we seen how Nick Saban turned out, failure. It was only last year that Petrino led his Louisville team to nothing but a loss in the Gator Bowl to Va Tech, now this year hes the biggest thing ever. I wouldnt bet twards this guy.
