I just started using the pill (diane-35) and my boyfriend uses a condom when we have sex. When I finished my first pack, after 21 days. I have not gotten my period yet. So far, it has been 4 days, 3 more days until I start my next pack. Should I be worried? If I don't get my period by day 7, I will probably take a pregnancy test. If he uses a condom and I am the pill, is it possible for me to be pregnant?

Hi Honey, here are some symptoms of pregnancy, check them and then see your doctor
Tender, swollen breasts
One of the early signs of pregnancy is sensitive, sore breasts caused by increasing levels of hormones. The soreness may feel like an exaggerated version of how your breasts feel before your period. Your discomfort should diminish significantly after the first trimester, as your body adjusts to the hormonal changes.
Fatigue
Feeling tired all of a sudden? No, make that exhausted. No one knows for sure what causes early pregnancy fatigue, but it's possible that rapidly increasing levels of the hormone progesterone are contributing to your sleepiness.
You should start to feel more energetic once you hit your second trimester, although fatigue usually returns late in pregnancy when you're carrying around a lot more weight and some of the common discomforts of pregnancy make it more difficult to get a good night's sleep
Nausea or vomiting
If you're like most women, morning sickness won't hit until about a month after conception. (A lucky few escape it altogether.) But some women do start to feel queasy a bit earlier. And not just in the morning, either — pregnancy-related nausea and vomiting can be a problem morning, noon, or night.
About half of women with nausea feel complete relief by the beginning of the second trimester. For most others it takes another month or so for the queasiness to ease up.
Increased sensitivity to odors
If you're newly pregnant, it's not uncommon to feel repelled by the smell of a bologna sandwich or cup of coffee and for certain aromas to trigger your gag reflex. Though no one knows for sure, this may be a side effect of rapidly increasing amounts of estrogen in your system. You may also find that certain foods you used to enjoy are suddenly completely repulsive to you.
Abdominal bloating
Hormonal changes in early pregnancy may leave you feeling bloated, similar to the feeling some women have just before their period arrives. That's why your clothes may feel snugger than usual at the waistline, even early on when your uterus is still quite small.
Frequent urination
Shortly after you become pregnant, you may find yourself hurrying to the bathroom all the time. Why? Mostly because during pregnancy the amount of blood and other fluids in your body increases, which leads to extra fluid being processed by your kidneys and ending up in your bladder.
This symptom may start as early as six weeks into your first trimester and continue or worsen as your pregnancy progresses and your growing baby exerts more pressure on your bladder.
A missed period
If you're usually pretty regular and your period doesn't arrive on time, you'll probably take a pregnancy test long before you notice any of the above symptoms. But if you're not regular or you're not keeping track of your cycle, nausea and breast tenderness and extra trips to the bathroom may signal pregnancy before you realize you didn't get your period.
Your basal body temperature stays high
If you've been charting your basal body temperature and you see that your temperature has stayed elevated for 18 days in a row, you're probably pregnant
Good luck.

If it was your first month using the pill - they may not have really taken effect yet. Usually the doctors will tell you not to depend on bc pills until the second month you are taking them. The fact that he uses a condom - makes your chances of being pregnant slim - but not impossible.
You may not be getting your period because the pills are strong (though I'm not familiar with the brand/type you listed). I am on the pill - and I have a little bit of pink color on the tp when I menstruate - and that's it.
So - is it possible? Yes. Probable? No. Take an EPT. I hope things work out for you!

As long as you took the appropriate pill every day on time you should be alright. There's probably like a .01% chance. Take a test for peace of mind, but I don't think you are. Some pills can make your period so light that if you blink it's already ended. Some pills can have such an effect that you don't have a period at all.
Good Luck! And good for you for using double protection!

It may be the effects of the pill, but to be on the safe side get a pregnancy test or schedule a doctors visit. Some birth control pills will cause missed periods. But get checked to be sure. Also ask your doctor if it is normal to miss a period with that type of pill. Every BODY is different! Good Luck!

it is possible, but chances are your body is just not used to the pill yet and the extra hormones are throwing off your cycle. a lot of women have diminished periods or no period at all when they're on the pill. keep being careful and using condoms. if your period doesnt come take a test, but chances are you're fine if hes used a condom every time.

You have to be on the pill for an entire month before it is totally effective. But even when at it 99% effectiveness and the condoms effectiveness there is always that chance nothing is 100% except abstaining!!!
Trust me I have 2 kids both from different birth control methods failing

The chances of getting pregnant are slim, but I think you're supposed to wait a full month after you start taking the pill before it becomes safe. Since condoms aren't 100% safe, then yes it is possible.

I've had quite a few scares in the past. But I've taken a pregnancy test a few times also and I end up getting my period that same day or in the next to. Just wait it out. But I don't think it's very likely.

Probably not, it could be simply that your pill dosage it too high and has stopped your period from happening. Don't worry about it until your next period is due. if it still happens, go back to the doctor and ask for a lower dose pill.
