I just downloaded itunes so that i could convert my acc. files to mp3. files so that i can play them in windows media player....well now i want to get album art...i tryed to get it off of itunes but i have to make a account but i don't want to put my credit card number on the computer so if anyone has any good sites that are free and that get updated frequently please say so.... :]

just find the album you want and click and drag the album art to the "artwork" part of when you click on "get info" on a song or album. I've done that for all of my songs in itunes that Itunes didn't find the album work.

If you mean the actual album art, there's not likely to be any free sources that are legal.
If you want to just put any art on there, you can probably get away (for personal use) using some pics from photo sites like Flickr.

google image search the album you want, save the picture to a folder on your computer then in iTunes right click a song (highlight all songs in that album) then select "get info" then go to 'artwork' then add the pic from where you saved the image from. You do the same thing in windows media player except right click a song and select "advance tag editor" then pictures..ect

you do not must have offered the song from iTunes to get the paintings. contained in the newest version of iTunes, basically go stepped ahead > Get album paintings and it truly is going to snatch it (for loose) for any song you've chosen.

yes i know u dont have to put ur credit card number there u can go to target or radio shack and buy a itunes music card and put in that code in the back i tryed it it is much better.ITS WORTH IT!!!

I had that same problem when I downloaded Itunes. I used Amazon.com, they pretty much had everything I had.
