Do I need money in my paypal account to cover the fees for listing an item I want to sell or can they take it right out of my checking account?

It can be taken out of your checking account.

I've been selling on ebay for a little over 2 years and I still remember how hard it was just starting out. The information in that kit will answer every question you have...and a lot more. I highly recommend you get it before you get too far into the ebay thing.

No you dont need any money on your paypal account, they usually just deduct the money from the credit you provided when you signed up.
