C) They are tired of the Americans in Saudi Arabia/Other countries in the Middle East
D) They hate the Americans because of George Bush.

I have met many Muslims in my time (I lived and grew up in Saudi Arabia, they are very nice people. SOME of them are terrorists like the Taliban but not ALL o f them.)

Its not just the muslims tht hate america but there are many others who are neva mentioned. The vietnamese hate americans, the north koreans hate americans, the chinese hate americans. U give full support and power to the israelis to opress the palestinians. they took away the land tht welcomed them as refugees and helped them. A palestinian sucuide bomber goes n kills 3 israelis n israelis kill 30. u raged a war against Iraq sayin they had chemical weapons n tht the dictator was ruling the country by force and killing his own people. Chemical weapons were neva found n 16000 people are killed as a result of violence just within an year. the dictator was hanged just for killing 147 people. who is to answer the killing of 16000 people. atleast this neva happened during the dictatorship.

North Korea has built up nuclear weapons but the US is not as serios about N.Korea as it is about Iran.

You only think of the 3000 people killed in the 9/11 attack but why not think about the 100000 killed as a result of american fighting.Your own soldiers n your own people dont needs this. everybody wants n end to the war so they could live peacefully but just coz ur country is ruled by some shiz radicals who think just about their profit n their own benefit the war shall neva end n so will not end the hatred.

America is at the top of their (call it either hit or hate) list because they detest personal freedom. You have to defer to a Muslim religious leader who can interpret the Quaran as they see fit. And, yes, many interpret some passages in the Quaran as meaning they have a sacred duty to kill anyone who does not follow their religion. Many say Muslims who say this is not the case are just offering appeasement so we will offer less resistance as they infiltrate our society.

Why should we have to worry, you might ask, how high can it get? Think about the Muslim elected to Congress this past election who opted to take the oath of office with his hand on the Quaran. Yes, the book was one provided by the Library of Congress from a collection of Thomas Jefferson's library, but this does not mean Jefferson was a Muslim adherent. I think the people who drafted our Constitution looked at many different avenues of government and religion, and as part of that is why we have the freedom of religion for the individual, while at the same time prohibition of the government to force a national religion on us.

So the very essence of our government would prevent a mullah from dictating the Muslim lifestyle on our citizens is a facet of American life Muslim radicals despise.

Muslim fundamentalists follow a form of the islamic faith that views other religions as "infidels" which is similar to what christian fundamentalists would call "heretics". Nearly all of the organized religions in the world have an "infidel" clause in order to keep control of it's followers beliefs.

It's not only the word of Mohammed that drives muslim fundamentalists to the hatred of christianity and western culture in general. The christians engaged in "The Crusades" almost 2000 years ago in which the christians attempted to slaughter almost every muslim they could find. On top of that the christians also took Jerusalum (sp) from them (even though they took it back some years later).

The taking of jerusalam brings us to the hatred of the jews. The muslims see the jews as their persistant tormentors for the past 3000 years. The muslims ousted the jews from isreal a long, long time ago and when the western cultures decided that it was a good idea to take that land away from the arabs that had lived there for hundreds of generations and give it back to the jews. Not only are they bitter about losing thier land, they are bitter about Israel's expansionist plans to occupy neighboring countries as well. This is most apparent on the Gaza Strip.

All of this is not to say that ALL muslims hate western culture and christianity. What you see on the media are the radical fundamentalists and you cannot form your opinions of an entire religion based on these few bad seeds. It would be like saying that all christians are fanatic murderers because some of them choose to kill doctors and patients at abortion clinics.

First of all.........some of the people over here are judging Islam based on muslim's actions....which is wrong....if this is the case then i would judge Christianity based on Stalin's or Hitler's actions.
Second of all........there are some actions that the US takes that make Muslims angry...such as...the bombing of a religious school in Pakistan...US had a major role in it....Most of the deads were school children..
Now, think about it.....will a parent of that child praise US or hate...

any radicalism's go to extremes not just Muslim and not just against Americans that's being narrow minded, what would you call American radicalism's? or English radicalism's? or vegetarians, or people against fox hunting etc etc. people that go to extremes to get their point across are not getting the point across

They want to be in control of their own countries, without American government influence, and they want their fellow muslims in Palestine to be granted the same right of territory as Israel.

The US invasions of muslim countries and reshaping them with new governments has not exactly made them happier...

What I wish I understood is how Americans can paint whole cultures of people with such a simple brush. Americans don't want to understand, they would much rather hate.

If Iraqi soldiers invaded the US and took over our government, what do you think Americans would do? How much would it look like what's happening in Iraq? We would all be happy and applaud the Iraqi soldiers and be thankful and welcome them into our homes to take our sons and say its okay when they bomb our houses and neighborhood? Hahaha... no.

I am sure if there was a Middle Eastern Yahoo Answers, someone would be asking "why can't the Americans just leave our countries alone?"

History.

America is simply reaping the seeds of hate it has been sowing for the last 65 years.

Part of an Arab land was given to the Jewish refugees of the holocaust after world war 2, but the rest of Israel is land taken by military occupation, which has been funded by American dollars.

The Arab world has been the blunt of trade restrictions imposed on them by the US, in order to obtain cheap fuel. That and the contuinal financial and military aid for the israeli army has been a raw ulcer in the mouths of many Arab statesmen for years.

Then as the Us started to get involved with the politics in Afghanistan, which was invaded by Russia in the 80's. They gave military aid and money to the Taliban, sending the region into chaos. The go involved in the Iran-Iraq war, giving millions in aid and weapons to Saddam Hussain, sending that region into choas. They got envolved in Somalia, in the 90's, giving military aid... and that has just gone belly up hasent it.

So the whole of the Islamic world ses the USA as some huge virus which is destabling thier little world, and they are powerless to do much, until allong comes some radical idiots, and without a better forum to protest at the US, who has turned a deaf ear to any critism for 40 years, they started to follow these radical clerics ideas.

Only it was not thier idea, it was a christian one. Fundalmentalism is the idea of the Anglican church in America, but they like the name evanjelicist now, its more PC.

They don't like the way American dress. Muslims think that women should be covered in public where nothing but their eyes are showing so they can see. They can only show skin at home. Women in America are allowed to work. They believe that women should be kept in the house. We can also have sex before marraige if we want. Muslims believe that women should be virgins until marraige. If they are not they are killed. Last but not least. Muslims have oil and Americans want control of that oil.

This is a very touchy issue and everyone has their own opinion. I would recommend hiring a few documentaries or reading a few books on Sept 11 and Iraqi and American Governments. It sound boring but it's actually very interesting. Also there is alot of information about this on the Internet.
