human beings have a tendency to imagine French Canadians and French French are an identical style. Ive been to both and met both communities and that i'll extremely say i'll get alongside with French Canadians no project. In France although, those adult men are litterally the most rude team of people I met in my total life. Even Canadians I met stated they could't stand them and honestly at cases some can take that as an insult even as both are compared. French Canadians or inquisitive about that be counted are quiet. Too quiet kinda scary honestly. French in spite of the undeniable fact that isn't some thing yet a u . s . of trash speaking which won't be able to be sponsored up.

We Canadians don't hate the American people. We do, however, resent being treated as an economic hinterland by the huge economic and political powers to the south. The use of protectionist tariffs of stuff like softwood, etc. while insisting that Canada open it's markets (small as they are) to American goods pisses us off. The NAFTA has been proven to be merely a pretense for annexing smaller econmies to the US.
We realize that if you sleep with an elephant, you may get squashed, but we wish the elephant were a more thoughtful, respectful bedmate.
The US political and economic powers get what they can from Canada BECAUSE they can. That doesn't make it right. We are acutely aware of Canada being pillaged like a Third World country by our supposed 'best friends', with no concern for our desires or best interests. That's not how best friends treat each other, is it?

The French don't hate the U.S., it's either ignorant or silly to that. Plenty of French people have educated and reasonable critiques of U.S. foreign policy and trade practices; it's U.S. Americans (not all fortunately) who have the problems hearing such criticisms. They'd rather diss the French then consider that they might have a point.
In general, there's been a good deal of confusion in France as to why exactly so many U.S. Americans despise them so vehemently. Political debate is part of French life. You'd do well to learn the art and nuance of it.

In general, French don't like Americans because they don't like any orders. Americans are trying to impose their way of life to others countries, which is unbearable for French. I mean:
- fast-food comes from USA and is totally in opposition to the French gastronomy rules
- they go on war alone and give part of the bill to Europe by giving mission of reconstruction to NATO organisation.
- they pollute and don't care about consequences
- there are a lot of weapon problems in USA and nobody want to change the damned 2nd amendment (for sure, U.K. will invade USA sooner or later... lol)
- they spy on everybody without respecting privacy
- they don't respect human rights
- they are still using death penalty even against young people
- their way of life produce a lot of fat people
- American work rights don't protect workers but employers.
-American media always lie to American people (they will never say that US governement pay warriors in nearly every country to have a kind of control... this leads to the creation of best American products: Oussama Ben Laden, Saddam Hussein, ...)
This is in general. I have spoken to some Americans and some of them are nice but others are really stupid (one of them compare the fact of having two guns to the fact of having two TV... I'm still trying to kill my neighbour with my TV but it's quite heavy and he escapes before I can throw him my TV... lol)

I think many nations have a somewhat skewed perspective, a stereotype if you will, of what and who americans are. Because of those they have come in contact with, and because of what is seen on the media....we are viewed as afluent, powerful, wasteful, lazy and abusive.
It is a common human response to lump all people of a nation into the same bin with a few bad apples, and buy into what the media puts out there.
