if she truly was your friend she wouldn't have cheated on you, ask what the heck she was thinking and move on.

If you really miss her, then why are you avoiding her? Start talking again, this must bother you or you would not have asked this question. I know it was hurtful to watch her with another person, but life is like that, and you feel more hurt than usual because it was hard for you to tell her how you felt. It is possible that she did not mean to hurt your feelings, and she had just met the guy from school and fell instantly in love. This happens. If you want your friend back, the only way you will get her is if you try to talk to her and then after conversing for awhile, ask her why you seen such a thing. It is also possible that she is doing this same thing to other guys too, besides you, and that is why she wanted to wait and see what would happen, or that she already liked that guy and did not know how he felt about her. Tell her you miss the friendship and you want to start talking again, but do not allow yourself to fall to pieces if you can tell she has been playing you. If she has been playing you, do not ever talk to her again.

maybe that's why she didn't tell you the whole truth (you know she said she was going to think about it and she didn't' come back to you only for you to find her kissing with some other guy). why don't you start talking to her again and ask her why she did what she did. friendship's aren't always going to be OK without anything going wrong if that was the case with you and your friend then you really need to work on it because to me it shows that your friend wasn't totally honest with you. not talking isn't going to solve anything if you don't respond when she starts talking to you then you'll always be terribly confused and hurt so why not give it a go and see what happens. best of luck

Even though your feelings may be genuine and strong, the best thing to do is move on and find someone else. But, if you just cant live without being her friend, confront her and tell how you really feel. You may be nervous, but letting her know how you feel is better than letting it eat you up. Maybe when you remind her that you were in to her she'll realize that most likely you're the one to be with. Obviously, if he's willing to just make out with her in front of everyone and make a show out of something special like that whether it be lust or not, he's not a good guy for her to be with. If she doesnt realize this, she's not worth your time.
But who knows, maybe she just doesnt realize that you REALLY like her like that and all it'll take to make her yours is confronting her.

She may be trying to get out an aggressive response from you by cozying it up with another guy. Show her that you were angry by what she did and that you care for her and it hurt you to see her behavior. If she's sorry, then let it go and be friends again but without the flirting...this should give her some time to think about what she did, and hopefully, pine for you enough to make the first move

I know that you miss losing a friend, but these are the kinds of life experiences that end up making you stronger in the end. A book of wisdom that I read one time stated that a man cannot love his wife, his children, his labor, his possessions, etc. above all else, because when he loses them he will crumble. You have to rely upon yourself to be happy by yourself. Your happiness cannot depend on this girl for your happiness. For example, when you saw this girl kissing another guy, it crushed you because you depended on her for a piece of your happiness. A guy's point of view would be that you shouldn't care, and you should find someone else that is willing to take you seriously and date you.
Don't listen to these other girls that tell you to talk to her initially. You can respond to her, but if you really are friends, then you wouldn't flirt with her, you would treat her like one of your guy friends. Tell her about other girls that you like and hit on her friends.
Think about it. You brought up the idea of dating, and she said give it time. Are you serious?!? You have known each other as friends for a long time. You know that you have a good vibe with her, and you wanted to take your relationship to the next level. When she said give it time, she was really blowing you off. Girls have romance on the mind, and if she liked you, then she would be making out with you in that hallway because she feels attracted to you.
The first step is to blow this girl off. The second step is to get some more girlfriends. Get like 3 or 4. There are probably 200 other girls in your grade.

I'm sorry this happened to you. The biggest mistake this girl made was to tell you she felt the same as you. You should tell her how she hurt you but, I have a feeling she already knows. Give it time but, be very wary if she tries to get back with you on anything but a friendly basis. Meanwhile, start looking around for new friends and also special girls.

I think you should sit down and talk to her. If you can't work things out as a couple maybe you could come to some sort of agreement so that you can still be friends. It's really hard for "friends" after they try the whole relationship thing to try to get back what they had as "just friends". But you're not going to get any of that back unless you talk to her. I wouldn't go out of my way to talk to her but next time she tries to talk to you, you should just ask her why she did that and what happened.

TALK TO HER!!! How will you ever know how she feels or be able to work it out if you do not communicate. When you are in a relationship you have to talk. Good, bad, whatever talk about it or you don't have a relationship. You need to know where you stand with her. That way, if she doesn't have feelings for you, at least you have some closier. Good luck.

Just talk to her, friends forgive each other too. Maybe your friend doesn't want to reck the friendship by going out with you or maybe she was waiting for you to actually make a move. But she did say she wanted time.

Make her jealous. Kiss a random girl from school. Get her mind on you. Or you can just talk to her.
