Can I buy from the UK store of iTunes if I live in the US?

They have tunes availible there that they don't have in the US store.

I've tried before, but it said I needed an account in the UK, I live in the US so I made one in the US. Theoretically, if you could make an itunes account in the UK, then you could buy in that store.
