I'm trying to find some pictures. All I can remember is the style of the pictures. They're very unique so I'm hoping someone will know what I'm talking about. The pictures are usually of big women, and possibly a fat cat, sometimes the women are walking with their stockings/tights ruffled, or sitting on a bench at the beach with their handbags, in a sort of cartooney style picture but not like you see in the paper, they're very good pictures. someone must know what they're called or the artist. It's been so long since I've seen them I just can't remember! HELP!

I think you probably mean the "naive" paintings of Beryl Cook.

I think you may mean beryl cook from Plymouth Devon, she also painted the people in the pub on the barbican, Brilliant artist.
