I don't know why he doesn't stick with "Stay the Course". It was working great, but now he seems to be caving in to meaningless polls. Get some backbone, Dubya. We can win this liberation with a minimum of force.

President Bush will not admit he made a mistake. I believe that if it was not for President of the United States of America George W. Bush and Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Tony Blair to remove Saddam Hussein who was a ruthless, uncaring, uncompassionate and useless dictator who was a liar and a thief, Hussein would still be in power today murdering his own people.

Progress happens in Iraq everyday. It is just unfortunate that the Liberal Media FAILS to tell you about it. Did you know that there are Iraqis in Iraq who are grateful that George W. Bush and Tony Blair put their jobs on the line so that they could have freedom? Did you know that schools are opening all over the country where the future leaders of Iraq will be educated? Did you know that Iraqis enjoy the presence of US Forces in the country? And where did I hear this from, not the Liberal Media but on The 700 Club (Christian Broadcasting Network) and Fox News. Liberals Know The TRUTH, but they know that if they were to speak the TRUTH. President Bush approval ratings and his handling in Iraq would go up and they do not want that to ever happen since President Bush and the Democratic Party are like the New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox, they both do not like each other and cannot be on the same team.

I believe that the world is a better place that Saddam Hussein is not in power. I also believe that all Americans should show some compassion to the Iraqi people. No if you are a Liberal, a Conservative, or an Independent, every American should show some compassion towards the Iraqi People. These people suffered over 30 years under Saddam Hussein and are today turning over a new leaf and becoming a democracy. The Iraqi people are trying their best to become a democracy and if you say that democracy cannot happen, look at Turkey which a democracy after the fall of the Ottoman Empire. I firmly believe that Iraq will be a strong Democracy by the end of the decade and will be a strong ally and friend with the United States of America.

In closing, I want to leave you all with a quote by Simon Wiesenthal view on the United States of America and her allies going to war with Iraq. Wiesenthal is a holocaust survivor and a Human Rights activist who said "The allies do not seek to conquer Iraq but rather Iraq but rather to confront a dictator who has used weapons of mass destructions and committed genocide against his own people. Adolf Hitler came to power in 1933, but for six years the world did not act. Has he been taken seriously then, the lives of innocent millions may have been spared." I believe what Wiesenthal is saying that if Adolf Hitler was taken serious when he came into power, World War II could have been prevented and the history of the world could have been altered forever.

Of course he wouldn't admit to a mistake. He's an arrogant, "born-again" (oh, goodness, no!!!!! Once was enough!) evil, sniveling idiot. That he fired the generals who said bringing more troops into Iraq at THIS point would be futile is disgusting. I cannot wait for him to leave office. The zealots are scaring me, and I believe that war-skipping sissy being anywhere near the "red button" could signify the end of humanity on Earth.
OK - you have the best avatar ever. Do you have a larger picture of it?

P.S. To *Mr. Conservative* - We got rid of Hussein in '93, and Weisenthal (who I agree with wholeheartedly considering his past, especially upon reading his FULL quote), made the comment before Hussein was captured - in fact, he made it in 2002, while Hussein was still in office. There are dictators and genocides all over the world. He never meant his quote to mean "Attack Iraq for power and money and tell the American people it's a war on terrorism". You are taking a quote made quite some time ago and utilizing it to further your own propoganda. Here is Weisenthal's quote in full:

Poor guy believed the government meant to do good, not ruin economies and incite hatred. If Simon Weisenthal was alive now, I'm sure he would consider Bush a dictator, too.

This is not about Bush. It's about victory and dealing a bad enough blow to terrorists there so that their government can get and maintain control. It's about sending a message to others that we can be relied upon. Sure there were mistakes made that made the situation worse over there, but that doenst mean we don't change the situation and turn our backs and throw our arms up in defeat. What if that was the attitude taken in World War 2 when the going got tough?
Pelosi and Reid both expressed support for troop surge in the past but now they want to play politics and footsie with Kennedy when they should be embracing Lieberman.

I think he'll just get up and sing My Way....

And now, the end is near;
And so I face the final curtain.
My friend, Ill say it clear,
Ill state my case, of which Im certain.

Ive lived a life thats full.
Ive traveled each and evry highway;
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Regrets, Ive had a few;
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.

I planned each charted course;
Each careful step along the byway,
But more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Yes, there were times, Im sure you knew
When I bit off more than I could chew.
But through it all, when there was doubt,
I ate it up and spit it out.
I faced it all and I stood tall;
And did it my way.

Ive loved, Ive laughed and cried.
Ive had my fill; my share of losing.
And now, as tears subside,
I find it all so amusing.

To think I did all that;
And may I say - not in a shy way,
No, oh no not me,
I did it my way.

For what is a man, what has he got?
If not himself, then he has naught.
To say the things he truly feels;
And not the words of one who kneels.
The record shows I took the blows -
And did it my way!

this wars gonna go on till 2013 helicopters will be flying in to the green zone in 2013 take people o roof tops they will sign peace treaties with divided iraq when all the americans and coalition of the willing is gone the fighting between iraqis will continue and the iraqi govt will collapse and be replaced by an islamic fundamentalist govt like iran with the shiites and kurds ruling the whole of iraq supported by iran and america will put an embargo on iraqi trade for 2 -3 decades

Gosh! What a healing statement that would be. If he just admitted he messed up and gave a presentation as to how the military experts say to fix things.
One can always hope.
