I, being a worry wart, need to understand things about my health thoroughly, so can you guys help? I'm 12 and my period is coming soon. This will be my second time and I just want some information about it. I'm feeling dizzy, which happened last time, but it's not consistent and I get some times when my head feels like it's spinning. My joints were aching bad which I understand is normal, and my abdominal area hurts a little. I hope the dizziness is normal because I worry too much. Anyways, my ribs have been hurting, which I think is ok because I haven't exercised that much and we just started playing basketball, which I leave almost out of breath. So maybe I pulled something or my rib muscles are aching. But this is what bothers me: on my arm there's some spread out lumps that feel like little balls under my skin, but thats if I roll them after a while. Is this just part of my muscles? I think I'm overreacting. :P

and if you can't answer this, you can help me to relax. This happens alot like a cycle.... I get nervous, it gets worse, then I get over it. Somthing comes up again, and I freak out. Alot like when I was scared of a comet hitting the Earth. God that was intense.

Some people are just rude. It's okay to worry about your own health without being labeled a hypochondriac. Show your parents the lumps on your arm...if they are to be worried about then I'm sure they'll take care of you. The dizziness, unfortunately, is something that some women experience during PMS. Drinking plenty of water helps, and get some teen Midol if you can. This will help all your symptoms.

yeah the dizziness is normal.
drink more fluids.
when you have your period, your body is looking fluids.
As for the hurting, you may just be cramping.
but i'm not too sure about that.
it really doesn't sound too serious.
don't worry about it too much.

Because you're using your arms more playing basketball, it could just be knots from overexercising. Still, I'd get it checked out.

you are not only over reacting, you are displaying symptoms of hypochondria, you may want to talk to a counsellor about it.
