And now I fear for our school systems...

A meter is a measure of length, and a kilogram is a measure of mass.

gram is the base of kilogram... a kilogram is 1000 grams, or a little more than 2 lbs.

A meter is 100 centimeters, 1000 millimeters, and so on... and is a little longer than 3 feet.

A meter is a measure of length.

A kilogram is a measure of weight or mass.

There is no conversion.


It's like saying how many pounds does two inches weigh?
It just doesn't make any sense.

That doesn't work, because meter is a measure of distance, kilogram is a measure of weight. That's like saying, how many inches are in a pound?

Kilograms are for measuring weight, meters are for measuring distance. So, no meters are in a kilogram.

you cant convert meters to kilogram because meters measure length whereas kilos measure mass

um well theres not really possible to do 2 diff . types of units but if youre talking about Meters in A kilometer thats 1000..and screw that guy who said that is science because actually its both!=]
