I must say Im rather offended by some of the answers here. dont call it retarded just because YOU dont like it. Its a style thing so deal with it or dont comment. Do u think all the stuff u did and all the styles u used that ur parents approved of or even an older generation? Be honest, the answer would be no.

Now I take those labels off as I dont care for them but people leave them on as a style thing and its no bigger or smaller than that. They want to look more thuggish and if that helps them do it so be it, and by the way some of you guys are replying its working.

Haha! the allurid gold sticker, I used to wonder the exact same thing all the time, so one day I asked one of the many guys that wear the gold stickered hat why exactly they do that and what it means and you know what he said? "It's shows how big my head is" haha, all it means is the size of the hat and for some strange reason they think it looks gangsta, lmao!!

I think its becasuse hip hop fashion in general and bling bling culture is totally nonsense and looks dire..i mean i have seen people leaving store tags on jeans and caps too..it is a dumb b offensive and c crass..i hope this in some way consolidates your confusion and go easy on the 9ct gold chains and silly cheap diamante (ice) earings yuk.

About a third of American women today are pear shaped, her studies have revealed, with hips that are much bigger than their waists and shoulders. A third are rectangular, with thick waists. And just a third have a classic hourglass shape though that's the shape that most companies use as a model for most of their patterns.

its retarded and its sad i know this but it proves it authentic. I guess some people feel that they have to prove they can afford a real hat and not one made at a swap meet or thrift store. Plus for some people see things on tv and have to follow.

It's just a style thing. This was most likely started by the "trend" of leaving tags on clothes, which just originated due to the option of returning the expensive clothes you just purchased. This just became a sign of your "ghetto fabulousness"

Its done partially to show authenticity that the hat one is wearing is real and not just some old cap that you can buy from anywhere

it is just a style thing. people think it looks cool and they want to show their hat is authentic. nothing to be worried about, no gang symbol or anything.
