Southern hospitality! People in the South are brought up to be courteous and kind...and to appreciate what they're given. There's just some awesome people from the South!

It stems back from the country's founding. Ideas and opinions are passed down from generation to generation. There has always been a fundamental difference between the mentality of the north and south, and it extends to pretty much all categories of life.

I am a yankee and I now live in a southern state and I have noticed that people are a lot nicer down here.

they are a lot more hospitable than northerners!
