Look in the corner of the room.

What exactly do you mean? How to construct a right angle? The carpenter that built the room with the right angle in the corner probably used the Pythagorean Theorem. He most likely ran a string close to where he though each wall should be. He marked off 3 feet from the corner in one direction. He marked off 4 feet in the other direction. He took a tape measure and, starting from one mark, moved the string until the distance between both marks was 5 feet.

3^2 + 4^2 = 5^2
9 + 16 = 25

A right angle is 90 degrees. If you have a triangle, the three angles add up to 180. So if two angles are 50 and 40, the other is a right angle because it is 90. Or you can use a protractor to see if it is a right angle.
