I don't think I'm related to either of my parents but I don't want to hurt their feelings and ask for a blood test. Is there any other way of finding out for sure..maybe a spit test..or what else

ever seen your birth certificate? they can be faked but very rare... look for natural birth verses adopted....
do you look like either of your parents, aunts, uncles, siblings, granparents.... or are just mad at them?

contact a DNA specialists...

also consider carefully why you want to know... and how it will affect you and your family... your parents have cared for a long time... is it really neccassary to know if they are blood related or not? my dad never adopted me, was not my biological father, and was a royal *** pain to live with... but he was my dad... he died recently.. and he is still my dad...

take your time on this.... it could have be consequences.

If you know where you were born. State and county you could go to the local library and look it up on the back dated recorded news papers. They have been printing b-days in the paper for years. They will list the names of your parents. Good luck.

If you do it you will obviously need to look at least 2-3 days after your b-day.

well, Im not sure, but I think you should just ask them. If you really mean it then I dont think it will hurt their feelings. They love you and if they havent told you that you are adopted (if you are) then you have a right to know.

You're better off bringing this into the open, but DNA can be gleaned from hair etc and then matched

DNA test. It should be relatively easy for you to get DNA samples from them. Hair will do; it's not the "best" but it will work.
