I am a senior in highschool, and with the end of the year approaching quicker than I expected, I need to select a few colleges to apply for. The only problem with that is I want to be a model, and there are not many schools for that close to home. I would love more than anything to move to New York, but II dont watnt to just move first thing that frar from home. Does anyone know of any decent modeling schools in Georgia or North Florida?

You do not learn to model from a school. You learn from your agency. If you want to model, take a year off and move to New York. Work as a waitress or bartender by night and try to get an agency by day. If you can't get signed, give up and go to college.

You are probably too old for Ford and IMG only takes established models. However, try the boutique agencies. Try New York Model Management, Women Model Management, Trump Agency, Karin NY, APM, Arlene Wilson, Boss, MC2 (formerly Marlilyn) or DNA. Basically, if you go to the website and recognize a famous model as a client you know that they are legit.

As a new model, avoid any agency with too many girls. You will be lost in the crowd. That's why I recommend the boutiques.

If you want to model you must live in New York City. The modeling agencies in New York City do not charge the model, they train the model and get their money back once the model to books modeling jobs. The top modeling agencies are Ford Models and IMG Models.
