It's no different than anything else in life -- some like it too much, some don't like it or use it at all and some are fine to use it in moderation for good things. It's no more social disease than say, alcohol.
Oh and btw porn addiction did NOT start as a result of the Internet.

i just got my vaccination yesterday good for me!:D
i think that the internet is a great way for people to communicate, better themselves, have fun, learn, etc...
how is it a social disease?
chatting on messenger isn't all that much differnet from chatting on the phone if u ask me...
i think people should get over the internet being a "social disease"
...i think it actually enables people to be able to socialize more!!!
people tend to be busy and free at different at differnet times, and with email for example, when one person isn't busy, they can still have communication with another person when that person is busy(when that person later isn't busy and the other person is busy)...
the internet is a gift!!!!!!!!!

It can be...When someone spends their whole day on a computer, talking to people does ruin social skills. However, someone who just uses it casually, it can be a powerful tool, giving a quick variety answers...

you make it sound bad but your on it now. i wouldent call it a desese more of an amazing way to find anyhting you want and do stuf wiht people who are around the world it helps relations wiht other countrys and bisneses. and any one who play MMOs know who great the net can be

not a proper question in my opinion but, the internet just stops poeple from going to someone else to talk and comunicate, just like the phone, exept the the internet, you mostly talk with poeple you dont know.

Wouldn't surprise me...I think it's definitely an addiction for some people. Porn addiction started because of the internet.
