2y=x+3
divide by 2 to get y by itself
y=1/2x + 3/2
then u can graph it.
the slope would be one half and the y intercept would be one and a half

This is a linear equation. I'm not sure of exactly what you are asking, but to get it in "y=" form, divide both sides by 2 so you have y = 1/2 x + 3/2 ...if that is what you are looking for.

Chris answered the how well, however as far as the why - consider this: Treat the equal sign as a mirror. What ever you do to one side of the equation you must do to the other side as well. For example - should you want to solve for 'x', then you would simply subtract the 3 from the right side of the equation. However in order to do so, you must also subtract three from the other side of the equation.

What Is 2y= x+3????
why and how did u get it???
y= .5x +1.5
This is the equation of a straight line with slope of 0.5 and y-intercept of 1.5.
To graph this equation and see the straight line mark the points (0,1.5) and (-3,0) on a coordinate system and draw a straight line through them.
The above is how I did it. The why I did it was to try and help you.
