I'm 14 and I just got my period. I know, people get it at different times. What I'm worried about is the fact that for the past 4 or 5 years, I have had yellow discharge daily. At first I though I was gonna get my period soon, but I didn't. Do I need to see a doctor?

I had that too starting when I was 9 or 10. It's probably fine unless it smells really strong and/or fishy or if you have persistant itching. If you have either of those symptoms, you probably have an infection and should see a doctor. If it bothers you, wear a panty liner so it doesn't get on your underwear.

You might have a heavier discharge then others ... that's what they have panty liners for ... nothing is wrong ... if the color changes then get things checked out ... if it starts smelling too get things checked out ... it has nothing to do with your period ... most women have some type of daily discharge ... if it bothers you - buy some liners ... you'll be just fine ... !

This is normal vaginal discharge. If it starts bothers you, try wearing panty liners.

Yes, please see a doctor. There has to be a reason for this and the doc can check you out to make sure you are ok.

if you have never had sex before then you dont have any stds so it cant be cause by that, if you have had sex before then it could be. i had the same thing for a few years before i ever had sex or had my period and thats normal
