Why in the world, do people who claims that homosexuality is wrong, that gay people are sinners, that being gay is wrong or even abomintation, spend hours every day in this section. I don't mean to be rude at anybody, but honestly, WHY you people who disapprove of my life constantly spending time with me?
It's merely rhethorical to ask, but I couldn't help but to wonder. (and to waste 5 freaking pts.)

I have stopped asking that question to myself a while ago, but I am glad you brought it in here.
Evangelicals are obsessed, night and day, constantly having sermons about how gay men have @nal sex, and spending every free moment talking about and thinking about the 'thing' that they supposedly despise -- when in fact they are most obsessed!
Similarly, people who haunt this forum, trying all day long to torment gays, they are also souls obsessed with 'all things gay' -- it does make one wonder why they might be so obsessed!

Because the old guy in the black cloak and the dusty text says that the ancient diety says that you are all sinners.
Faith = the opposite of reason.
Those who still have a rational brain understand that some people are gay, some are straight, and some are somewhere in between. There is no right or wrong. You couldn't choose to be gay any more than I chose to be straight. it's not a choice. I'm am totally and completely enthralled with the female form- and I don't know why.
And you're welcome to some of my points. I'm not using them.

This section isnt intended at a hangout for homosexuals. Its the section in which questions about that subject are to be posted and answered. Anyone, gay or straight, can ask and answer in this section whether they agree with homosexuality or not. I answer questions on subjects I dont agree with. Plus some of the questions in this section are so dang funny. It can be a real hoot.

Actually to exercise their condemnation while remaining hidden. I recently was so offended by comments sent to me personally for my beliefs I had to shut of accepting replies privately to stop the madness. It is a shame that people who just want to judge stomp around this forum spewing their hatred but that is part of the risk one takes in participating in an open forum. I know this won't make it better but I hope it helps spread some understanding and hey we can always report them for their bad form as I am sure they report those of us free thinking types. ;)

For 1 don't take what people say on yahoo so personal. 2 I guess I grew up in a cave becasue the only thing I knew about gay people growing up was what they told me in church Period.
I am trying but it's hard to divorce what you were taught to believe as a kid for a long a** time.
I in NO way excuse idiots that rant on here about your life and blah blah blah, at the same time people come to the Gay section because it's like were not supposed to be here becasue were the Straight Folks no straights allowed, so straight people come right on here answeing questions and being stupid.
Don't put too much thought into it. I'm straight and I come on here answering questions BUT I have NO desire to be with dudes. Period.
Honestly I've been on yahoo today at work chillen and I said to my self what are the Gay people up too today and came over.

Their small minded people that really need to get a life. Their so filled with fear that they have to take it out on us. Plus they probably don't have jobs(who could work with such *******) so they spend all day taking out their anger at the world on this sight. They remind me that there are people out there that want to hurt me and that I always have to be on guard. That I always have to be on guard is sad. Oh ya their big losers too.

For the same reason that most of us atheists hang out on the religion board, we are nosy as to what the Christians are up to, and get a laugh at making them angry because to us they are an easy target. That is part of why closed minded people like to bug the gays and lesbians, the other theory is that they are secretly curious about your lifestyle. That they have homosexual tendency that they feel guilty about, so they make fun of you, but yet are strangely drawn to you. That's my 2 points, I mean 2 cents.

Honestly I have don't get it either.
Supposedly they hate us, condemn us, want nothing to do with us, but then they're always here.
Either they have a really twisted idea of what their religion tells them, they have no life of which to speak of, they're secretly homo-curious, or they actually take pleasure from being hateful and mean spirited towards others.
Either way, they need serious counceling.

As I have said before..generally what we dislike in others is what we see and dislike in ourselves most...they see that they have gay feelings and to cover them they come here and bash in an attempt to feel superior..or at least not gay(as in, I'm not gay I just told a faggggot off). One day they'll come out of their self-imposed closets.
