Brief summary: A boy's parents die in a car crash, and he is sent to live with his grandmother, who smokes cigars. She is from Norway, and knows a lot about witches, so she passes on her knowledge to the boy. On advice from her doctor, they vacation on the British coast, at a hotel that is hosting the annual world-wide witch's convention. The boy ends up the target of the witches, and is victim of their newest evil plot, turning children into mice to allow them to be killed. He and his grandmother then work very hard to bring down the witches.

Honestly though, it's a great book, and you should really read it.

it'll take you less than a night to read it!and its a reaaly good book!

if you need more time, tell the teacher you are struggling and would like an extension to work on it some more.
chances are they will offer to go through it with you, and will actually help you understand it more. teachers like being asked for advice it makes them think that there a student than cares.

though if your report isnt dam good you will be in worse trouble, only ask the teacher for help if you are serious about wanting to do it

You'll probably fail the report and your teacher will know you didn't read it if you don't mention....Wait, I'm not telling you! Read the book.
