Honestly, people. Do some research. I've lived in Utah almost 20 years and have never met a man with more than one wife.

It did think about it - but then again there are a lot of Americans who think Canadians all live in igloos!

Because people associate Mormons with polygamy....and Utah is predominantly Mormon.

well, the only times the general public hears about mormons in the news is usually regarding polygamy. i went to a predominantly mormon high school in california and as a non-mormon, i was more shocked that they don't consume caffeine than that their parents were monogamous.

Overall, that's true, but there are still a few fundamentalists groups there who still practice polygamy. I have no opinion about the state, cause i've never been there.
