I'm not English but I can tell most do. If the didn't, Beckham would've never been able to make it to the top. I like Beckham, he's a great player! But he hasn't been playing at his best lately...

Yeah Beckham is all right, just not as good as he was, he never should have left Man Utd. But then we would never have signed Ronaldo

He's OK, got far too much money though. I hope he comes back to the Premier League but no doubt he will be off to live with the Yanks.

Some people like him as a footballer
Some people like him as a celebrity
More importantly - the players on his team seemed to like him a lot - he was good as a captain - whether he played well or not - because his team mates liked him on their side

I certainly don't. I think that he is an OK footballer, but nothing special. He is just a marketing tool. This season he has started 9 Real Madrid games and they have only won 2 of them.

Used to hate him because of how arrogant he was. Still don't like him, but I appreciate what he's done for charities.

of course
i'm no beckham freak and i was glad when we got rid at utd because he was putting much more effort into england than into the reds but at the end of the day he has been a belting player, a great role model and he's fantastic with kids and the public in general if you ever see him. also hes raised mehga bucks for various charities
