Last year, Orton provided very consistant, limited mistake, slow tempo play for the Bears offense. They relied heavily on the defense and special teams, but it worked and resulted in a lot of wins. I know that Grossman has played some really good games this year and obviously has the ability to play a lot better then Orton. But at the same time, he had some really horrible games where he either lost or almost lost despite the defense and special teams.
So why don't they put in Orton when Grossman is playing bad? Like if Grossman is doing horrible in the first half, play Orton the second half.
