Yes! Yes! The King is scary! Kinda' reminds me of Stephen King's movie (and book) "It".
Especially unsettling are 2 of the commercials:
1. The one where he is lurking in someone's backyard and then getting closer and closer until he's looking through their window?! Isn't there a law about Peeping Toms??!
2. Then there's The King lying on a big bed in a room filled with men, and hugging some of them?! What's that all about?! CREEPY!!
There should be a disclaimer at the beginning of each commercial saying that parental discretion should be exercised and not recommended for children under the age of 18!!
With that said, isn't Burger King's target audience mainly children? Have their sales dropped because of The King, or am I the only one besides you that finds these commercials perverse?

To be honest he does bother me also, all the commercials featuring the King are on the strange side even disturbing. I think they should drop him as their main ad and get something more friendly. Maybe a burger elf or something.

OMG, YES!!! I think it's a disturbing image and totally worthless as an advertising concept. Their ad agency should be fired. They were going for cult humor but ended up with just plain creepy. It makes Burger King the LAST place I want to eat.

Yes, me too. Especially the peeping tom commercial where he's peering in the kid's window. Now that would give me nightmares, waking up and seeing that. There's supposed to be a game sponsored by BK that lets you make him wreck and so on, although I doubt they'd let you "kill" him. Too bad.
It turns me off of BK entirely. If I have to eat fast food, I keep driving until I find something else...although Ronald McDonald creeps me out as well.
