How do you DO IT?

Place a ink pen inside a empty pop bottle.
Now how do you get the pen back out without touching the bottle?

fill the bottel with water.

or drop a rock on the bottle.

well if the pen is made of a ferromagnetic materials, you could get one of those thin magnetic retrieviers from say true value and lower it into the bottle.

if the pen has a clip on it, you could lower a looped string into the bottle and hook the string under the clip.

if the pen is taller than the bottle it will stick up through the opening and all you have to do is grab it.

if the bottle is one of those plastic bottles, you could take a blow torch to and cut a hole in it big enough to stick your hand in. without touching the bottle.

you could have somebody else pick up the bottle and take the pen out. thus you wouldn't touch it.

you could take the bottle and glue it to the inside of a space shuttle. then put the pen in it. once in space, the pen will probably float out of the bottle.

you could put the bottle at the top of a very tall building put the pen in it and wait for a windy day to knock the bottle off the roof. if it's glass, it will smash and you can then pick up the pen.



seriously, there are a thousand different ways. here's my favorite

if the bottle is right side up you could fill it with something denser than the pen. Say WATER. And cause the pen to float out of the bottle.
