Yes, homosexual behavior has been documented in many different animal species, including chickens. However, that might not be the only cause of your infertile chicken eggs, so I'd watch their behavior. If you don't witness any homosexual behavior, then there's probably something else going on and I'd look into other causes. It's possible that your chicken isn't even trying to breed with another chicken. Female birds who are "in the mood" to be parents will often lay eggs even if there are no other birds present. Of course, these eggs won't hatch, but they don't stop laying them.

lol no
hens can lay eggs with out the cockerels around
if the cockerel has not mated with the hen she wont lay fertile eggs
the eggs take 21 days to hatch in an incubator
but if you hoping the hen will hatch then her self then she must be broody first
to tell if she is
she will peck at you and or go for you with her claws if you try to take eggs from under her while she is nesting

i worked on a farm for a while and found hens rather fun
but very rare do the cockerels mate
unlike what we are lead to believe

Homosexual behaviour is among the primates. The chickens must have a male called a rooster to mate and fertilize the eggs before they are layed. Have great success.
