It is called read your instructions as you did not say what type of phone you have. But you may have the music in the wrong file or folder and that is why you can not read it. On the computer you should be easity able to change folders.

i could be wrong, but i know it depends on what kind of phone you have. I have a LG enV2 and you cannot put music as ring tones, i would check into the phone details before buying a micro-SD card.

You will probably have to format the card first in the phone, then add your music into the newly created music folder

You have to put it in the right folder. Format the card again in the phones settings, and look for an 'audio' folder. If you don't put it in the right place on the card the phone won't see it. It looks for mp3s and so on in the audio folder, jpegs and so on in the picture folder, and mp4s etc in the video folder.

I'd say you've saved the music in a format your phone doesn't recognize. Read your phones manual and see what format it needs to be in. Some phone manufaturers make the phones require special formats that you have to buy from them.
