Typically fuel lines leak around places where they are connected with a clamp and rubber hose.

Look around fuel pump, fuel filter, connection from pump to carburator/fuel injector rail.

If you smell fuel, do not drive the car, the fuel can ignite and cause an engine fire.

Check also by the fuel tank. There's rubber hoses back by the fuel tank too. Look for cracked hoses and replace.

The two most common reasons for a fuel leak are - one or several of the lines at the top of the fuel tank are rusted or the tank itself is rusted. Over the years dirt and water collect on the very top of the tank and cause it to rust
