ok so i have the sims 2 game and when i put it into my computer, my computer doesnt read it. and it acts like their no disk in the drive... i dont know waht to do... if anyone can help that would be GREAT!!! i have a dell and i just got it last year if that helps any, oh and their is enough space, i made sure of that before i bought the game.

Your lens in your disc drive might be dirty. Use a disc cleaner that's been designed for it, don't touch the lens yourself. I've had that problem once too and went nuts trying everything I could think of. Then I just happened to try my disc cleaner (the kind with the little bristles on the CD), and that happened to work. If that doesn't work for you, it might be the disc itself and you'll have to exchange it for another copy. Hope this helps. =)

Have you tried to put in other discs? It is possible that your disc drive is not functioning properly.
It could also be that the game you bought is faulty.

Both EA and Dell are wonderful companies to get help and feedback from try contacting both.

sure, yet think ofyou've got to enable it even as logged in as administrator. be careful - Vista takes up a ton of RAM, and Sims 2 does besides ... you'll favor to have more effective than the minimum device criteria on your computer or run the opportunity of having a sluggish, uneven, unplayable pastime.
