Just letting you know that it's not just one kind of lipstick. I use Avon, Clinique, and Maybelline and they all do the same thing.

I love Clinique's All About Lips! My lips get chapped in the winter and this stuff helps that, keeps my lips soft, and helps my lipstick stay put longer!

Look this may sound weird ,funny, crazy or whatever, but it works , use your own toothbrush or a new one.Scrub your lips with the toothbrush for about 3 minutes or less but not for 20 seconds it has to be like a minute. Then they tend to get a bit red but not for long since your going to wear lipstick.Do not use with toothpaste or anything else just water . You will see the difference in just a few hours!Good Bye and Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!

my advice to u is to stop using lipstick for a few days & get a chaped or cracked lip treatment, or chapstick, or vasoline. to heal ur chaped lips. they will stay soft for about a week. when u start to feel ur lips getting softer or the urge to use chapstick is gone u can start using lipstick again with no problem. u can try it... it worked for me but it may not work for u. & if u can't stand without lipstick wear the lip treatment with ur lipstick

I Think Just A Simple Lip Gloss Works For Me but Don't go and buy a cheap one go all out on on a good one ($20-50) and just keep it with you at all times.

you need a lip creme. i think elizabeth arden makes one. if not, go to sephora and as them about it. if your lip hurts after wearing it, try a lip cream underneath, a lip primer and then the lipstick. also put moisturizer over your lips too when you are putting it on your face. another thing you can do is apply vaseline on your lipe before bed. petroleum gel is great and works better than most expensive stuff.

I would use a really good chap stick, something along the lines of Burt bee's or blistex, and then use your lip stick. Also you could put some chap stick on and then use lip stain, instead of lip stick. It does basically the same thing.

Prep your lips with a primer...although it is expensive, Perricone's lip plumper works wonders to soften and prime your lips and will not interfere in any way with the type of lip look you want, whether matte or glossy.
