The first time i was pregnant I would develop noticably wet areas on my shirt every now and then sometime after my 7th month. Once while i was laying down on my side i leaked from one nipple so much it soaked a 4 inch wide stripe all the way down to the couch...i don't think much is normal for women still pregnant.
During my following two pregnancies i didn't leak at all while pregnant..well, i got pregnant the third time six months after the birth of my second, and i don't think i'd dried up completely when i got pregnant, but it dried up quickly after conception and i didn't leak again after that. And i'm currently 22 weeks pregnant with my fourth and havn't experienced any leaking.
Not only is every woman different, but so is every pregnancy. What's normal to experinece in one for the pregnant woman, might be absent in the next.

Not only is every woman different, but every pregnancy is different. I have been pregnant seven times (4 losses). I have started leaking anywhere between 4 mos. pregnant to 3 days post delivery. Our breasts normally start showing changes early in the pregnancy. Some women start leaking around 4 mos, but real milk flow doesn't start until 3 days after delivery. Don't try to force your milk to come in during pregnancy. Nipple stimulation can cause contractions.

Lactating is producing milk, and you don't produce milk until after the baby is born. My milk came in after 4 days, and the engorgment was awful!!!
While I was pregnant, I'm not sure when but not after 4 months, I was producing colostrum, and that would come out if I squoze my nipples. That's what the baby eats until milk comes in. It coats their digestive tract and protects it, gives them immunities to protect against sickness, etc. It's a clearish/yellowish liquid.

I had colostrum from 7 months pregnant and then my milk came in a couple of days after the birth. But everyone is different.

Mine started when I was about 5 months. It was never enough to leak through my bra, but when I didn't have a bra on..OH GOD! Some woman don't lactate until after the baby is born. Every one is different. Good Luck!

I'm 36w pregnant today and started leaking a bit yesterday. This is my second baby and I didn't start leaking at all until after delivery with my first. I think every woman is different and every pregnancy is different.

Its different with every single woman. Some start in their first trimester, others not until a few days before, or at the time of delivery.
