He has disgraced the legacy of Washington, Jefferson and Lincoln. He has taken our country of hope and possibilities and turned it into one of fear, racism, and aggressive violence both at home and abroad. Now we are even responsible for the genocide occurring on our "watch" in Iraq, and we are behaving in the Middle East as if we were Germany in the forties, desperate and hungry for control of the world's dwindling oil reserves. The Dark Cloud that hangs over this Nation and its reputation will not go away if/when they surrender power, but will take a long time and very hard work to accomplish. Future Presidents will suffer for some time with the international lack of trust in the good intentions of the United States, making it much harder for them to be effective, and we will all be burdened with the long term hatred the Bush family has created in the minds of Muslims around the planet. And, in just six years BushCo has bankrupted the country http://www.uuforum.org/deficit.htm making anything we wish to do in the future much more difficult than it was before they took power. Impeachment is required, and if the Congress is too weak to step up to the challenge, we can only hope The World Court will provide us all with some justice for their sins.

I think he is honorable, forthright, honest, loving, full of pride for his country, able, strong, unselfish, law-abiding, generous, and a GOOD listener. All he has ever done was to ask us to be patient, and love our own country, as America deserves. Did he not say, the war on terror will be hard, but for us not to forget what was done to us? Did he not say to US, things USA will do to find out who did 9/11, might look like playing "dirty pool"? Isn't that what the terrorists did to us? Bless George Bush for his unfailing WORD that he will NOT give up! He will stay the course, as our precious military has done. He has not let the ridiculous liberals, and their hateful spew get the better of him, or of RIGHT, or of DEFENDING America, as should be. He has NOT coward to the rest of the world, with their cowardly actions, and way of living! (just mentioning Spain here). No one RULES America, except their people, NOT terrorists! Thank God President Bush was, and IS at the helm, to make sure the terrorists didn't! Love ya, George!

Neither did the question that looms most obviously over the execution as far as Socialist Worker is concerned: If Saddam Hussein deserved to be hung, then what about the leaders of the U.S. government, who ordered two barbaric onslaughts on Iraq, linked by more than a decade of the strictest economic blockade in history?
When will George Bush--Junior or Senior--or Dick Cheney or Donald Rumsfeld or Colin Powell or Condoleezza Rice or Tony Blair or Bill Clinton and Al Gore stand trial?
Saddam Hussein is accused of responsibility in the deaths of many thousands. The Iraqi victims of the U.S. war machine number in the millions.
When Baghdad fell in 2003, the media filled the airwaves with images of Hussein’s palaces and the luxuries he enjoyed amid a devastated and impoverished country. The U.S. occupiers moved into those palaces--and almost four years later, the lives of most Iraqis have grown more impoverished.

eh, i don't approve of the man, but i don't hate him either. I wish he would stop trying to portray that the Iraq War is going great and do something about making it better.
