got to be the classic Cradle of Filth, but technically thats black metal not death metal.

I choose 2 bands that i know as :
The hardest or heaviest : VICTIM, a band from england, just listen to their song called "To F*cking Hell", you will know what i mean about the heaviest and the hardest band.
The evilest or darkest, i choose : 1349, a band with ex member of satyricon, the give us some brutal speed black metal music. Please listen to them.

Depends on what your interpretation of 'heavy' is - I think to be 'heavy' you have to have great face-melting riffs, played fast and loud!! So I would go with Slayer - but they're not classed as death metal - I'm not exactly sure what they are to be honest. I would say they are Hard, Evil and Dark though!!

Mayhem ranks up there pretty high. Their history of violence, murder, and devil worship is pretty interesting, too.
But they are also one of the least talented bands I've ever seen in my life. :)
